Explaining MidSouthCon Tickets

Paid tickets are required for the banquet and fantasy ball, and can be bought at registration. These are sold as Merchandise online in Tabletop Events.

Tabletop Events allows you to get tickets for events such as panels and games. We are not charging for event and game tickets. Ticket-holders are prioritized over walk-ups for scheduled boardgames and rpgs. However just because a game shows as full doesn’t necessarily mean it’s full. If you want to play, please check in person if you can’t get a ticket – the dice may smile upon you.

For all other panels and events, online tickets are purely for you to keep track of your schedule, and us to gauge interest so we can continue give you relevant and engaging programming. We don’t check for them at the door, so please don’t let a “full” panel or lack of ticket keep you from coming.

MidSouthCon 41 Is Almost Here!

The countdown is officially underway—MidSouthCon 41 begins Real Soon Now! In just a few short days, fans of science fiction, fantasy, comics, gaming, science, horror, anime, costuming, and more will gather for an unforgettable weekend of panels, art, gaming, and fannish fun.

As we prepare for the convention, online badge sales have now been suspended so that we can finalize, print, and laminate attendee badges in time for the weekend. This helps us make check-in faster and smoother once the convention begins.

But don’t worry if you missed the online registration window—badges will still be available at the door when the convention opens. You’ll be able to register on-site and join us for all the excitement.

MidSouthCon 41 will feature:

  • Hundreds of hours of programming
  • 24-hour gaming all weekend long
  • A fantastic Art Show and Charity Auction
  • A well-stocked Dealer’s Room
  • Our legendary Masquerade costume contest
  • The always-popular Con Suite with snacks, drinks, and a place to relax with fellow fans
  • An incredible lineup of guests, panelists, artists, and creators

Whether you’re coming for the discussions, the games, the costumes, the art, or just to spend the weekend with your fellow fans, we can’t wait to see you.

Pssst – I’ve got a secret to tell you!

There’s a way to get double credit for volunteer hours at MidSouthCon 41. You already know that if you volunteer you can qualify for discounts on your badge, along with other swag.

But you didn’t know that your time counts double if you volunteer – in advance – to work setup on Thursday, March 19 or teardown on Sunday, March 22! We need able bodied people on Thursday to help get stuff out of storage and into the truck, unload and set up at the hotel, then tear it all back down again on Sunday afternoon, load it back on the truck, and put it back into storage! No experience or equipment necessary!

All you need to do is apply to be a volunteer at https://tabletop.events/conventions/midsouthcon-41/volunteers/apply. Once approved, be sure to request one – or more! – of the load in and load out shifts and your time will count double!

🎤 Got a Great Panel Idea? Want to Run a Game? We Want YOU for MidSouthCon 41! 🎲

MidSouthCon 41 is now accepting panel proposals and gaming event submissions! Have a creative idea, niche expertise, or a topic you’d love to share with fellow fans? Our panels run for one hour and can cover anything from the supernatural to beauty tips and everything in between. If you’ve ever wanted to volunteer as a panelist—now’s the time!

We’re also looking for dedicated Game Masters (GMs) to help bring our gaming track to life! Whether you want to run an RPG, board game, card game, or something entirely different, we’d love to see what you have in mind.

GMs agree to:
• Run events either as a GM-only or play as well (but if your event sells out and you haven’t purchased a seat, you must GM only)
• Provide the core materials needed to play
• Tidy the play space afterward and clear out in time for the next event
• Let us know if you need any special accommodations

Vendor Applications Now Open for MidSouthCon 41!

Due to high demand, MidSouthCon selects vendors through an application process. Applying does not guarantee space, and the deadline to apply is December 17. The application link is https://tabletop.events/conventions/midsouthcon-41/exhibitors/apply. All applicants should list every type of merchandise they plan to bring, as unlisted items may not be approved.

Applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse mix of vendors, and we may contact you with questions—please respond promptly, as failure to do so may move you to the waitlist. Approved vendors will receive booth assignments and payment instructions via email; missing the response deadline will forfeit your spot.

The Dealer’s Room is located in the main ballroom, has set hours, and is secured when closed; vendors must be open during all official hours. Artist Alley is an unsecured hallway space with flexible hours, intended for creators such as artists, authors, and small publishers. Please choose the correct location when applying, as mistakes may delay acceptance.

Due to space constraints this year, vendors may request a maximum of two booth spaces, and tables are not included with booth spaces.
