There’s a way to get double credit for volunteer hours at MidSouthCon 41. You already know that if you volunteer you can qualify for discounts on your badge, along with other swag.
But you didn’t know that your time counts double if you volunteer – in advance – to work setup on Thursday, March 19 or teardown on Sunday, March 22! We need able bodied people on Thursday to help get stuff out of storage and into the truck, unload and set up at the hotel, then tear it all back down again on Sunday afternoon, load it back on the truck, and put it back into storage! No experience or equipment necessary!
All you need to do is apply to be a volunteer at https://tabletop.events/conventions/midsouthcon-41/volunteers/apply. Once approved, be sure to request one – or more! – of the load in and load out shifts and your time will count double!

Vendor space is always in high demand, and applications help us ensure a balanced, exciting marketplace for our attendees. Whether youâre offering books, art, collectibles, cosplay items, handmade crafts, games, or any other fannish treasures, weâd love to consider you for our 2026 Dealer Room â but we can only do that if you apply!

Vendor Applications Now Open for MidSouthCon 41!
Due to high demand, MidSouthCon selects vendors through an application process. Applying does not guarantee space, and the deadline to apply is December 17. The application link is https://tabletop.events/conventions/midsouthcon-41/exhibitors/apply. All applicants should list every type of merchandise they plan to bring, as unlisted items may not be approved.
Applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse mix of vendors, and we may contact you with questionsâplease respond promptly, as failure to do so may move you to the waitlist. Approved vendors will receive booth assignments and payment instructions via email; missing the response deadline will forfeit your spot.
The Dealerâs Room is located in the main ballroom, has set hours, and is secured when closed; vendors must be open during all official hours. Artist Alley is an unsecured hallway space with flexible hours, intended for creators such as artists, authors, and small publishers. Please choose the correct location when applying, as mistakes may delay acceptance.
Due to space constraints this year, vendors may request a maximum of two booth spaces, and tables are not included with booth spaces.

MidSouthCon 41: The Update You Didnât Know You Were Waiting For
Back in June, we said weâd have big announcements about MidSouthCon 41. And technically, we still canâbut only if your definition of âbig announcementâ includes things like âweâre still working on it.â Or for particularly large values of “June”.
Yes, friends, the wheels of convention planning are turning… just maybe not at ludicrous speed. Weâre deep in negotiations, scouting venues, syncing calendars, consulting oracles, bribing dragons (okay, just one dragon, and only with snacks), and doing all the behind-the-scenes work needed to make MidSouthCon 41 our best yet.
We know everyoneâs eager to mark their calendars and start planning costumes, games, panels, and general geekery. Trust usâweâre just as eager to get those details finalized and out into the world. But we also want to make sure everything is locked down right, not just right now.
So hang tight, keep your dice warm and your cosplay sewing machines humming. We promise to announce the date and venue as soon as the stars align (or at least the contracts do).
