At MidSouthCon we take great pride in our programming. We are planning to have over 200 hours of programming and events at MidSouthCon 39 (not counting the Gaming events). Some of things you can expect at the upcoming convention are:

Panels Presentations and Workshops
We will have panels on Science, Gaming, Fandom, Comics, Anime, Costuming, Media, Art, Speculative Fiction and more. We will have demonstrations by local members of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), Amtgard and others. We will post the schedules as we get closer to the convention.

Masquerade
Always a staple of MidSouthCon’s programming, our judged costume contest continues to  expand. With dozens of contestants in multiple categories, the masquerade has become one of our most popular events. For details, see the Masquerade Page.

Art Show
MidSouthCon’s Art Show displays the the works from artists from around the country. See the Art Show Page for more information.

Signings
No Convention would be complete without autograph sessions with the attending guests.

The Darrell Awards
These Awards are presented by the Darrell Awards Jury in association with Memphis Science and Fiction Conventions, Inc. to promote literacy in the Mid-South by recognizing the best published local science fiction, fantasy, and horror. For more information check out the Darrell Awards home site.

Guests Banquet
Have dinner with our guests and enjoy the Darrell Awards presentation – on Saturday.

Charity Auction
MidSouthCon’s annual Charity Auction benefiting Literacy Mid-South, Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, and other worthy causes.
